All in a Day's Work

Rivers
stream down my skin…
I wipe my brow and squeeze
water from the mop: today it’s
my gym.

Mountains
I scale the peaks
Unable to reach the base
Snow-white socks, sky-blue jeans, grass stains
Laundry

Twin lakes
A sudsy sponge
Plates, glasses, knives and forks
Dive in, splash about, towel off
Sink swim

Hi Anne! LOVE your poetry and this blog. If OK, I would like to share your news with my Mom sometimes. We had fun with your folks at dinner in GWD recently. Will be thinking of you and Alan -- have a wonderful time on your travels! CWM

  2. Thanks so much! Please do share this. I'm so glad the blog has become a good way for me to stay in touch with people from all over. :) Hugs to both of you!
